Many Voices, One Community- John Avalos

Campaign Kick-Off for John Avalos for Supervisor in District 11 was held Saturday at the Excelsior Playground.

What a great day for a party. Tons of kids, snow cones, food, music and a well organized introduction to John Avalos.

Lots of families - saw some t-shirts with " John Avalos experienced leadership for families".

A person named Sue from Coleman Advocates got up and said " he is my neighbor, he is my best friend - we are one".

Conny Ford from the San Francisco Labor Council (Vice President for Political Activities OPEIU3) announced that the San Francisco Labor Council has early endorsed John Avalos for Supervisor. District Eleven has the most labor people in any San Francisco district.

Both Eric Quezada and Mark Sanchez (both candidates for Supevisor District Nine) attended this kick off, along with Supervisor Chris Daley.

John worked for SEIU, and he now works at City Hall so he knows he away around. When John Avalos spoke he said that" he was on Obama's ticket, but he doesn't know it". He ended in saying" Many voices - one community".
