In honor of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, you are invited to gather in an effort to transform our society into a truly compassionate community.  During this  workshop he focus will be on this primary question:
How can political activists embody compassionate, empathetic, and other best practices from the personal, spiritual and social spheres in our efforts.
The  morning  will feature a diverse group of community leaders in a Wisdom Circle dialogue around compassionate politics and policies.

MLK Day 2011: Know your rights

Keynote message from Anne Kenner, former Assistant United States Attorney, member of the World Affairs Council Executive Committee, Adjunct Professor at Hasting Law School and High School Civics teacher at Gateway High School.
After the Keynote there will be breakout sessions regarding to subjects relating to civic engagement and youth justice.
